I'd Call That A Bargain

So I feel this tap on my shoulder and I turn around when this fist smashes into my face, and I hit the ground hard and I'm on my back. I'm having trouble breathing now, but I don't care and I'm ready to kick some ass when I hear her yelling at him, so I just sort of lay there and try to see what's what. The bar is quiet now, and you can just hear her yelling and him arguing back. I recognize him; he came in with her and sat next to her at the bar. Sure, they seemed close, but I figured they were cousins or something. So when he went to the bathroom, I decided to introduce myself and keep her company until he got back. Honest. Anyway, now she's saying something about him being too possessive and jealous, and how I didn't mean any harm. She's kneeling down near me now, so I open my eyes real weak like and kinda groan. She puts her hand on my head and gives me this smile, and I feel him walk by and I hear the door slam, so I smile too. I get up from the floor and let her lead me to a booth, and I'm feeling good. A fine girl's talking to me and all it cost me was a punch in the face.
