The Fabric of Our Lives

The Fabric of Our Lives
I love the feeling of it
I always wear it underneath my clothes

It warms me up inside
I hold it deep within me
I cannot understand why i have to hide it from you

And these days
They keep on passing by me
And these ways
They never worked that well for me
And these eyes
They the brightest in the world
And these sighs
I save quietly for sleep

The Fabric of our lives
The Fabric of our lives
The Fabric of our lives
The Fabric of our lives
I save quietly for sleep

Can you give me a hand?
I think this one's working
I haven't got a clue or a hunch to spare for you

Can we rest here a moment?
I need to catch my breadth
It covers the entire expanse of my house and everything
And these days
They keep on passing by me
And these ways
They never worked that well for me
And these eyes
They the brightest in the world
And these sighs
I save quietly for sleep

And these robots
Controlling all my mind
And these robots
Controlling me

The Fabric of our lives
The Fabric of our lives
Controlling me

The Fabric of our lives
The Fabric of our lives
I save quietly for sleep
