Memento
starring Guy Pierce, Carrie Anne Moss

This movie is a complete mind-fuck. Guy Pierce plays a man with no short-term memory in search of his wife's killer. Detective work is slow business when you can't make new memories so he writes notes in order to make progress.

The coolest part about this movie is the way it is told. The movie begins at the end. The next scene brings you back in time and the movie progresses until you reach a point you've seen already and then it jumps back in time again.

This movie is packed with all you could want from a movie. Action, suspense, twists, and Carrie Anne Moss.

I would tell you more but it would be doing you a disservice. Go see this movie now.

	F-Zero Advance

Game Boy Advance
Remember the Super Ninendo Entertainment System(SNES)? The SNES was quite possibly the best video game console ever made. The amount of quality games put out for the system were amazing. Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, F-Zero and Super Mario World. These new 3-D games just don't compare. So what does this have to do with Game Boy? Well the Game Boy Advance has all the power of a SNES in portable form and more. All sorts of classic SNES games are in translation so they can be released on this backwards-compatible system. But new games like Tony Hawk are coming out for it that look absolutely astonishing.

They come out June 10, 2001. I can't wait.

	Super Street Fighter II

This band had a cool hit in "One Step Closer." That song got really overplayed however. But when their second single, "Crawling," was released, I took a closer look at the band. To me they sounded like Stabbing Westward meets Limp Bizkit. So I bought the album. The album is OK. After listening to the album the band appears to be just another rap/rock band. Not that it was dissapointing. Even though the album seems to be devoid of meaning (the songs all seem to have the same lyrics), some of the songs were quite catchy and good musically. One stand out track "In The End" is particularly original and is my favorite. In the other songs however, the band seems to be ripping off the style of other classic music groups. One track has the lead singer trying to sound like the dude from Rush, the next has the group get together for an Alice in Chains chorus.
